Today I did it.
There was this 'things you should know about coffee' thing and part of it was 'never add cold milk but get a jar and shake up some milk and it's like a flat white' or some such. All because of...

KEEWATIN
(Yes, you know who you are)
So here is what it was:
STEP ONE
I did look for a jar. I failed. But this plastic food storage thing looked ok so I put milk in it. The coffee was just finishing up in the espresso can on the stove.
STEP TWO
So I poured the coffee into my coffee cup, just up to the hubs.
STEP 3HREE
I placed the lid on the plastic container and began shaking violently.
It must have been nervousness?
Then I picked up the container and shook it violently. I soon learned that the lid was not water-tight, evidenced by the milk flying in all directions and splattering on the walls, ceiling, countertop, floor, etc. But it did make some bubbles (no buttercups or blossoms).
STEP FORE
The difficult part, poured the bubbly-milk into the coffee, it remained well-below the top tube.
STEP 5IVE
The tricky part came next - the barrista cream art on the liquid surface.
Then I drank the coffee.
The original instructions that suggested a jar with a screw-top would probably be a better way to do it.
